As I get ready to eat some breakfast (at 12:46… *sigh) I figured I’d post the new Atmosphere video. I linked to the MTVu premier yesterday when i dropped Sad Clown Bad Spring 12 on ya’ll and I know other sites had the OnSmash version up. But since I can’t post their videos I figured I’d wait until RSE put it up on their page. I’m seriously psyched beyond belief for this album. Finally! Atmosphere decided to leak their first single off their upcoming LP; When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That Shit Gold. Slug’s writing abilities are something else, sit back and relax while this story of addiction takes you away. I can’t even express how stoked (yes … stoked) I am for this new album. A coworker of mine had the chance to hit up a listening session in T-Dot and said the album is (again) nothing like they’ve done before. Very instrument based. Anyone who has seen Atmosphere live, picture an full length LP of Slug over his band. Crazy shit, can’t wait. It drops April 22nd so you know what to do, cop that!

As we continue on… I posted the first episode of this awhile back where one of Shake’s favorite duos proposed that their fans should send in questions for them answer. This episode Slug + ANT answer some of the submissions. I really appreciate the fact that they took the time out to do this. I enjoy when artists let fans get personally involved.
