The Incomparable Shakespeare is teaming up with your favorite dopeboyz on the internets to drop his first EP in quite some time. Before that we wanted to give you his first EP that dropped way back in ‘04. Ahh fuck it, let the (other) Shake explain…

As I get ready to premier my 1st official EP in 4 years with 2DopeBoyz, I figured I’d gve you a throwack. Back in ‘04 with the help of my then manager, Dan Green, (what up Dan), we got an incredible cast of producers together and made a hot EP. It features tracks produced by Jake One, MoSS, Black Panther, Cave Precise, and Tone Mason. Almost everyone that was involved went on to work with some of the game’s biggest acts. Shouts to everybody that contibuted including BK Cyph, Sophia Lauren, DJ Bill Bixbee, and Probe DMS because this project holds a special place in my catalogue.

So this is the 3rd entry in my homage series and the cliché goes, “third time’s the charm”. Whereas The Miseducation of Franklin Rossman was an introspective tribute to Ms. Hill and the The Instant Classic was a feel good trip down memory lane, A Shakespearean Premier is a return to the boom bap, lyricism, and turntablism (shouts to Probe DMS).
