To celebrate “Inside A Change” winning the Best Film Award at the 2009 HBO NYILFF, Skillz, Usef Dinero and DJ Jazzy Jeff put this joint together for the soundtrack. The original concept for the video was to create literal interpretations of Skillz’ lyrics that have to do with the characters in the film. However, that sort of morphed into straight up performance shots where we followed Skillz around various locations during his tour and intercutting it with abstract b roll shots. It was a blast shooting this video and big huge shoutout to Skillz for supporting this film since day one. Enjoy!

Before I get back on my post grind I have to express my frustrations. If you’ve been following me on Twitter you already know the deal. Three babies and two nuns later, I’m finally at a spot with free WiFi. What’s the deal with these places now a days? I remember when McD’s, Starbucks, the library, etc all had free internet. Now you gotta pay for two hour blocks? Fuck that. This is the reason there hasn’t been any updates from me since 5 yesterday. I believe Meka is having no-internet issues as well. Last night during the Bacardi Live Tour at M2 Ultralounge in NYC, Three/21 and Skillz shot final pickup shots for the “Inside A Change” music video produced by Joe Money, featuring Skillz and the legendary DJ Jazzy Jeff on the cut. Skillz and Jeff killed the crowd as you’ll see in the footage and to have a legend like Jeff on this mixtape is quite a blessing. Shoutout to the homie Skillz who is always a pleasure to work with and for making this dope title track for the flick. Enjoy!
