Beans called up Shade45 this afternoon to talk with DJ Whoo Kid about his recent collab with Curtis (and explains why the first verse was recylced), Jay-Z and the fake’ness in Memphis Bleek. Smh @ this broad gobbling Beans dick the whole time though. “Oh true. You right. Yes Beans. Oooh. I agree.”. Shouts to Adot on the rippage.

Back in 2007 Drake called into Shade45 to talk with Angela Yee about Degrassi, Comeback Season, etc. They play Replacement Girl and City is Mine before having folks call up and question/comment. I went up to Eminem’s Shade 45 on Sirius Satalite yesterday at 5 p.m. to do what I thought was going to be a standard hip-hop interview to promote my new Legendary Classics Vol.1—a two-disc collection album (which in case you haven’t heard hit stores this week)—but the interview started becoming about boxing. I explained how I thought Floyd Mayweather was a great fighter but he needs to stop fucking around and start fighting the best fighters in his own weight class. When Mayweather was young and hungry he fought some of the baddest dudes he could get his hands on and I was a true fan, but after he fought Deigo Corroles in the early 2000’s he started taking fights more for money than legacy and actually began avoiding the tougher challenges. – R.A. the Rugged Man [via XXL]

How do I go from passing out at 3am to waking up at 7? Smh… anyways, I thought I was gonna be a bit behind on this Eminem stuff because I’m on the West Coast (but then I forget, ya’ll East Coasters don’t do shit until we wake up haha haha). But… I’m not. The interview did go down and YN was defintely listening as he gave a play by play of the conversation. Here are the good parts I picked out….

Respects T.I., Wayne, etc. Says that he would work with Wayne (just hasn’t had the time). Dre did the entire album (with the help of Em on We Made You; Em did one other). He picked beats that challenged him (rhythm wise). Every flow is different over unique beats. 3AM (and the album) is on a different vibe of the single. He’s censoring himself less this time around. States that he’s still Eminem (but Slim Shady is back). Relapse 2 will be out at the end of the year (if not finished, it’s extremely close to being done). 50 & Dre are the only guests on Relapse. He doesn’t know how to work a computer (but still checks 2dbz). Bigs up Kim K. The shots at celebrities should just be taken at face value. Ya’ll should be used to it by now!
