Three/21 and Re-Up Gang will be premiering the highly anticipated “Popular Demand” video this Monday 11.16.09 on MTV2, mtvU and MTV Jams, airing every hour on the hour from 6:00 am as well as 24 hours exclusive on air and online. Shout out to RFM, Sabrina at Sony Music and Steven Victor for turning this initial internet only video into a broadcast piece.

Last week, Three/21 shot the dynamic VA duo, The Clipse and Killa Cam in NYC for their latest track “Popular Demand” or “Popeyes” (for short) off the upcoming album “Til The Casket Drops”. Despite a few crazy moments such as the NYPD trying to shut us down and blacklist us about 4 times in 4 seperate locations. Luckily Popeyes came to our rescue and let us shoot Cam inside during business hours in front of a whole bunch of surprised customers. Shout out to Steven Victor and the entire Re-Up Gang squad for holding us down. Come holla at ya uncle…

Visually collaborating with the homies Fitts and Tilla from The Kickdrums is always dope. For this video, “Things Work Out”, the concept was inspired by the butterly effect scene from “The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button”. By definition, a butterfly effect involves random scenarios and “what ifs” where one storyline diverges at the moment of a seemingly minor event resulting in two significantly different outcomes. Fortunately for our story, “Things Work Out”. – Rik Cordero

Here is the first visual off Jared Evan’s Radio In My Head mixtape titled Frozen which is also featured on Lebron James’ More Than A Game OST. I remember showing the original version of this video to Puff during a studio session and he was like “Who is that kid, I want to meet him now!” After that moment it was pretty clear that Jared would get a shot and not only would he get a shot but his calling card to the labels would be in the form of a music video presentation. I’m not sure if that’s ever happened before but I do feel good knowing that a video that was driven purely by artistic passion lead to a very gifted kid realizing his dreams. – Rik Cordero

Now for those that remember, Three/21 has been instrumental in visualizing Jared’s first few music videos which lead to some major hitters such as Jimmy Iovine, Polow and Timbaland to take notice.
