I’ve been patiently waiting for this to drop ever since the release of the Dilla produced Shotgun (rmx). I admit I forgot it was dropping so it was a pleasant surprise when Kenny (of Fresh Selects) hit me with an email and linkage. As a precursor and promotion for their brand new album, Abundance (dropping January 20th), the tape features exclusive Waajeed remixes & blends of PPP favorites; as well as unreleased songs from both PPP and the Abundance album. I’ve been meaning to post this ever since it appeared on Fresh Selects this weekend. A dope remix to PPP & Dilla’s already classic cut, Shotgun. Now featuring a new beat from Waajeed and a previously unreleased verse from Jay Dee! Straight off Triple P’s upcoming Abundance Mixtape, which will feature ‘jeed remixing a bunch of PPP material as well as some brand new cuts from the new members. Look out for the Abundance album hitting shelves in January!
