CultureVI catches up with the QN5 emcee to talk about the story behind the PackFM alias and his feelings on current day music. The clip also showcases footage of Pack recording a feature for his upcoming collaboration with Poizun for a track called Paint the World.

Last Friday Shake, myself and the homie Dre hit up the QN5 Megashow. While the thing started off wild slow (with two, random-ass YTs asking me if “I got any ganja”) the thing picked up in a mater of minutes. After Marco Polo, Donwill, Torae, Louis Logic, J-Arch and Poison Pen opened up the festivities, the entire show picked up as everybody from Mr. SOS to Kokayi ripped their respective sets, while all of us chilled backstage with Immortal Technique, CunninLynguists (Kno = funny muh’fucka) and the rest of the crew. Here’s some footage of PackFM (alongside Mr. Mecca [not me]) doing their thing on stage. More footage to come!

Today is my only full day in NYC, so excuse me if I don’t want to spend it sitting on my laptop updating the site. I know… I’m a jerk. But fuck it, things will be back to normal after the weekend. Anyways… if you’re in the NY area you NEED to be at this event as the entire QN5 roster will be in full efffect! Myself, Meka and a few other (2)dope people will be in attendance as well. UPDATE: It’s about that time for myself to hit the street. There’s a big chance there won’t be anymore updates for the rest of the day, but we’ll see. Be safe this weekend ya’ll!

The good folks over at QN5 decided to let loose of a bonus cut off PackFM’s upcoming collab album with Domingo, I F*cking Hate Rappers, which is looking at a Summer release.

Absolutely Positive is actually a bonus cut from the disc – which should go a long way to demonstrate the calibur of insanity that awaits you on the actual album. You may have gotten a taste of in the video from Pack’s recent visit to P.O.W. Radio. So, we decided to play nice and make sure you had a crispy-clean copy to bump in the whip to tide you over until the record’s release this summer.
