This is definitely something a lot of people wouldn’t expect MIMS to come with. I know he has this type of shit in him and it showed on a few joints off his debut album, but it was overlooked by This is Why I’m Hot, etc. What do the dopeboyz and dopegirlz think about hip hop being so political now?

BaRock Star produced by the Blackout Movement is the most important record I’ve ever done because with my music I stress the importance of hope and determination in overcoming life challenges. People with similar backgrounds who have defied similar odds like myself can be successful. I think Barack Obama defied a lot of odds and turned negative aspects of his life into hope for every single person, whether black or white, struggling to progress in America. I will continue to release music that speaks to the people of our beautiful country as long as there’s a platform to have my voice heard. Please vote for Barack Obama on November 4th because Barack Obama will provide us with the change we need. – MIMS
