Invincible talks about those inevitable Eminem comparisons she receives.

Earlier today, our OKP fam had the premiere for the third video off of Invincible’s latest album, Shapeshifters.

Here Invincible touches on subject matter often ignored by the mainstream. The themes around the song are the issues of depression and suicide. As she talks about in the song’s intro, these topics were apparently too controversial for MTV. “Ropes” aims to break the pattern of turning a blind eye to mental health issues, and to begin the process of healing. Take heed to the heavy lyrics and watch the Mr. Complex directed video above.
