Mixed by Hot 97’s own Peter Rosenberg. This mix tape pays homage to original classic hip hop beats being re-looped from the original records that they came from along with some of Folk & Stress’ original music. Look out for production from FOLK, H2DRO, and Preservation (Mos Def’s DJ), and artist features such as the GZA and Blu.

Anyways, this is off The Black Lips’ The Drop I Hold EP, which comes out May 5th. This is… a doofy ass track. I’m not gonna lie, this is some drug-induced shit.

Here’s something interesting: this Blu verse was actually supposed to ride shotgun with the GZA’s own verse off “Paper Plates.” But instead, GZA changed his verse to clown Fiddy instead. What would a GZA x Blu x RZA song sound like? The world may never know. Props to Dreddy Kruger for the hookup.
