DOWNLOAD: What’s in the Tapedeck v.23

I was promising this for too long so I had to drop it tonight so I wouldn’t forget again. Ever since my man put me onto FlyLo about a year ago with his debut 1983 I was hooked. I’m not sure on how to explain his production style. You take some hip hop breaks, some electronic sounds, some jazz influenced moods, some hazy samples, some off-kilter percussion and you throw it all together in an ambient mess of good’ness. FlyLo will be dropping his new album, Los Angeles, this Tuesday so if you’re feeling the sample tracks be sure to support! On top of the LP, expect a series of three EP’s (the first dropping June 30th). I hope just dropping three tracks will give people an idea of what he’s capable of although you really have to listen to a project in full to really appreciate the mans talent. Listen to them in order…
