Cypress Hill & Soul Assassins producer, DJ Muggs, is HipHopOfficial’s Artist of the Week. Above he talks about his latest projects, building his own brand and what keeps him motivated. After the jump is an extra clip that features Muggs’ talking about never conforming to the machine and staying true to his own sound.

For the past couple years I would attend Sneaker Pimps, but after last year’s I wasn’t too compelled to go again because it was a letdown to me. Fortunately, some footage of the event has sprouted up so I get to see what I missed. Props to Stephen.

The above clip has Young Fash in the studio with DJ Muggs and Self Scientific’s DJ Khalil. Not a bad pair of producers to line yourself up with if you ask me. The footage was recorded by CooL C over at FLMarz. Which is also who the bonus track was recorded for.
