Once more we welcome representatives of Detroit’s rap scene in our show. We sat backstage at the splash! festival with Guilty Simpson, Phat Kat, Big Tone and DJ Graffiti. Guilty Simpson explained that the “Random Axe” project with Black Milk and Sean Price is already finished and revealed details of his next project on Stones Throw Records with Madlib. Phat Kat talked about his collabo album with eLZhi and Big Tone spoke about his impression to be the first time in Europe.

Afterwards we proceeded with our rubric “Vinyl Check” where we took a trip down memory lane through Detroit’s venerable music scene.

We’ve posted a couple tracks off this over the course of the last week, now it’s time to present (along with FakeShoreDrive & DJ Graffiti) the latest mixtape from Pugs Atomz. Featuring 16 tracks w/ guest spots from the likes of Finale, Astronote, 6th Sense, Ill Poetic, Sadat X and more.
