This leaked back in ‘07 under the name of California Soul. I’m pretty sure it was a radio rip though. Whatever the case may be, the track has been remixed and mastered and will now serve as the title track to Jay Rock’s upcoming debut.

Some might remember Young Life as we featured him on our (2)Dope Mixtape: Cadillac Edition. I met dude while I was chilling at Treacherous Records awhile back. I have footage of dude freestyling for like 20 minutes straight. All off the top, etc. It was pretty dope, I’m just having crazy issues with getting shit off my camera (see: Blu x Joe Budden x SeDrew Price show, Young Life freestyle, etc). One day I promise haha. Anyways, here goes a new joint from the Compton emcee courtesy of DJ Young Legend. I also included the NoDJ version of the track off the mixtape.

I finally finished these other parts of the video interview my man Jake Paine did with The Game for HipHopDX. The above clip has The Game speaking on Compton’s legacy and where he lands in the mix.
