We posted Action, the UK Bonus, yesterday. Now we’re back with the iTunes Bonus (Prostitute II) and Deluxe Edition Bonus (Whip It). I will leave my opinion out for both. Enjoy (or don’t).

I meant to post this last night but got caught up in putting together everything for SoundSet 08. I got to sleep around 4:30 then woke up early in the AM and split. So I’m not getting around to posting til now. Dah well, here is some random bits and pieces to Weezy’s upcoming album. You can’t really get any real feel for it but it’s still something for the stans.

Lil Wayne and Jay-Z speak with MTV about their upcoming record together, entitled Hello Brooklyn 2.0. Supposedly it was originally planned to be on Wayne’s The Carter III (until Hova said he wanted it haha).

“[Wayne's camp] sent the record and it was done,” Jay elaborated. “So it wasn’t like a collaboration thing. It was done already. Gee [Roberson] and [Kyambo] ‘Hip Hop’ [Joshua], who came from Roc-A-Fella and went on to do great things — I’m very proud of them — manage Wayne. That whole thing came through them. It’s more of a great record than a lyrical slugfest. It’s more a creative, great record than two guys spitting. ‘Success’ [another American Gangster track] is more of what people wanna look at when you judge that type of [collaborative] stuff. It’s me and Nas going at it.”

Jay also says that he is still making revisions to his upcoming album and mentions a future tour with the entire Roc-A-Fella roster.
