Pusha & Malice link up with Rik Cordero for the latest video off their upcoming album Til the Casket Drops, which hits stores on December 8th.

Looks like we’ll be seeing yet another new Clipse video this Monday morning…

Three/21 and Re-Up Gang will be premiering the highly anticipated “Popular Demand” video this Monday 11.16.09 on MTV2, mtvU and MTV Jams, airing every hour on the hour from 6:00 am as well as 24 hours exclusive on air and online. Shout out to RFM, Sabrina at Sony Music and Steven Victor for turning this initial internet only video into a broadcast piece.

Last week, Three/21 shot the dynamic VA duo, The Clipse and Killa Cam in NYC for their latest track “Popular Demand” or “Popeyes” (for short) off the upcoming album “Til The Casket Drops”. Despite a few crazy moments such as the NYPD trying to shut us down and blacklist us about 4 times in 4 seperate locations. Luckily Popeyes came to our rescue and let us shoot Cam inside during business hours in front of a whole bunch of surprised customers. Shout out to Steven Victor and the entire Re-Up Gang squad for holding us down. Come holla at ya uncle…

Considering their collab with Cam’ron leaked the other day, DJ Hyphen decided to post a segment from his interview with Pusha & Malice in which they speak on how the track came about, their motivation behind the record and how Cam declined their offer for him to be on the Grindin’ remix. Look for the full interview to be released soon.

“The whole idea for the whole record came about because at the time the Clipse were real heavy on the blogs,” Push explained, sitting next to his big bro in the New York showroom of their clothing line, Play Cloths, on Tuesday. “Cam’s comeback was real heavy. We were both about to drop albums. We’re like, ‘Yo, we need to make one of them New York records — real lyrical, like, a fan record.’ We both have two really strong cult followings. From that conversation, Pharrell went into the studio and start playing with the drums and [came up with ‘Popular Demand.’ Once the title came up, it was over. Pharrell got in full Cam mode.” – MTV

Yep, this is the first album I will legally buy since Pharoahe Monch’s Desire in 2007.
