Artists truly showing love and appreciation to one another. And seeing them both spit it at the same time? Classic. Shouts to Frolab on the footage (and NR on the find).

DJ Premier was in the house at the listening session for Royce Da 5′9’s new album. I got Preme talking all the details about the album for you tomorrow at kevinnottingham.com, but wanted to run this one today. Premier spilled the details of who is going to be a part of the upcoming BET Awards* Cipher and it doesn’t disappoint. They got some ill collabs of both new and established artists. Where’s the footage?!

End of The Weak! Saturday (7.20.09) was an incredible day for hip-hop in New York, man. Once again, the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival took over the city and brought in acts like Pharoahe Monch, Styles P, Black Thought, Craig G, Brand Nubian, Dead Prez and many more. We chopped it up with Green Lantern about his new mixtape with Emiio Rojas, Styles P’s new book, talked conspiracy theories with the Brown Bag All-Stars, Eternia’s new album with MoSS (DJ Premier’s right-hand man) and caught on-stage a performance of Simon Says by Pharoahe Monch.
