Just before I get ready to watch a few shows with the misses, I wanted to post this new project that Omer Saar (of UniverSOUL Productions) sent me earlier today. I’m a sucker for cool concepts and revisions of great music done well. Omer does his thing on the production side of things chopping and mixing classic tracks from Al Green while a capellas from the likes of Jay-Z, MF DOOM, Biggie, De La Soul, Busta Rhymes and more. Here is the first song to leak [via DJ Soul] ?uestlove on the drums while James Poyser’s on the keys (together they are known as The Randy Watson Experience).
