thank u XV ! because honesstly i thought the beat to lights please was boring to me…but i really wanted to hear the song… a lot people know J.Cole can rap and rap well! so this help me to finnally hear the lyrics. #imjussayib

i think this beat is more melodic then the og version. but obviously the original fits more. that’s why it’s the original.
Its a cool beat, but theres more to producing than just making a tight beat and matching it with any song… there has to be cohesion between the beat and the lyrics. There’s no cohesion there.
