HipHopAtLunch sat down with Kidz In The Hall to talk about the Land of Make Believe, the current state of hip hop, and what they’re doing outside of music for fun.

  1. YUP DEATH TO THE FASHION RAPPER

DEATH TO THESE SOFT ASS CORNY CRY BABY BITCHES

  2. LONG LIVE HIP-HOP

  3. honestly, Naledge isn’t dope enough to talk that much shit.

  4. NIgga his silver spoon ass aint beat nobody up. he like 5′2. C’mon son.

  5. let the popular be popular???

    Fuck outta here with that…

  6. I agree with Coolsville…

I bought Kidz In The Hall first album off of the strength of “Wheelz Fall Off (’06 Til)” and that was the only dope song I liked from them. Their new album and Naledge solo stuff bores me. Sorry.

  7. I think Nalege & Kidz in the hall are cool, but on some tough love shit, he must be mad stoned in this interview. First he talks about how “fashion rap” is all “bragging and boasting”…and then he turns around and says we need to hear more of the popular kids’ “bragging and boasting” instead…what are you talkin about guy lol?? I mean i know it’s obscene how much music is out there, but honestly, at least half of it is either better or more interesting than these cats. Straight up. They deserve respect as one of the first like “hipster” acts or whatever (i hate these fucking titles), but i feel like Nalege needs to fall back a lil on that.

  8. im a fan of naledge and kidz in the hall, but what are they talking about in this interview? he had me scratching my head the whole time, like ok number one naledge said these “internet rappers” are being biters, but dont they get most of their promotion from the internet and isnt his whole image shaped after another more famous chicago rapper by the name of mr west, number two did he just say somethin bout “fashion rap”? come on be serious what are half your rhymes about and then “emo rap”, i dont really have much to say about this one except for the fact that i like the different sounds we can get from hip even if it is “emo rap”, oh and speaking of that didnt they make a record called littlest things flippin a lily allen joint…yea he should think about that, now number three and probably the most important, he just said some stuff about popular people being popular and no lame people in hip hop…thats interesting coming from a dude whos whole image is being a nerd and genius and whatnot, and again im a fan of these two but i think they need to tone that down just cuz theyre salty cuz they thougt they had a winning formula for mainstream and underground but never blew up like they wanted to and like cats like lupe
