Snoop Dogg Admits to Being a Hater (Video)

Uncle Snoop chops it up with Rasha Entertainment about his upcoming album (Malice in Wonderland), getting your education and how he used to hate on Crooked I & Soulja Boy. I definitely respect dude for being up front and as honest as he could be. It takes more in yourself to admit wrong, then to hold it in and ride on.

  1. Thats what I call being real, being honest. You gotta respect Snoop for this one.

  2. definetly respect snoop for that.
    still hate soulja boy tho.
    well,
its not so much hating as it is knowing the dude is fuckin wack.

  3. Fuck that…

If i don’t like your music im pullin’ ya card…Im a hip hop fan and If a Rapper puts shit out FOR the fuckin public then as a fan you should judge it because they did it for you!!!…Its fucked up that Hip Hop culture today expects you to shut up or dis-credits you if you happen to express your opinion of dis-like for an artist or song. Hip Hop is on some FAG ass shit homie.

I don’t have to respect somebody’s goddamn “hustle” either, I hate it when they think they deserve respect for becoming popular. Fuck theyre money! All that should matter is Skill, Authenticity, and Quality…not how they fucking struggle to the top…Im sorry Snoop but everything shouldn’t be all positive. You need a balance or you’ll get soft ass music like we got today.

  4. word i hate soulja boy, gucci and all of them, it’s my opinion though, i don’t literally hate them as a person(i don’t even know them) but i hate the “music” they put out. to me when someone is hating they’re just stating their opinion about the music.

  5. real talk from dirty needles …second you

  6. Snoop has lost his fucking mind. Points lost in my book. I’m with dirty needles here. The fuck I gotta respect someone’s hustle for if they ain’t doing the shit right??? Soulja Boy for one. Dude is maaaad wack. Runs his mouth too much. An ignorant motherfucker bragging about how much each piece cost him in a video recently after his arrest then showing his stacks where he called someone up to bail him out with. He already got robbed 1 fucking time. The same people knows where he fucking lives. Did he not learn his lesson then??? I mean damn. And the kid’s beats all sound the fucking same. His ass rich and still using Fruity Loops Smfh…..How dumb is that dude??? How Snoop can respect Soulja Boy is beyond me. Especially working with him.

  7. @Dirty Needles: Exactly my dude. If a muh fucka was rappin about worshiping satan and killing a whole bunch of people, I’m not gonna stop and say “Well, he hustlin and gettin his paper, so I guess its ok”. Fuck that shit. It aint got nothin to do with hating them or their success. Its just the fact that I might not like their music and if I dont like it, then I’m gonna say I dont like it. It’s as Common once said, “If I don’t like it, I don’t like it, it don’t mean that I’m hating”.

  8. Snoop dogg likes Soulja Boy. That is some bullshit, he knows tey all suck but he can’t hate because thats what teenagers want these days. This “rap game” is gay as fuck.

  9. Co-sign with dirty needles..

  10. That Soulja Boy dude fake as hell any damn way. There is only one Soulja Boy and he is from Mo Thug and been around since th 90’s when Bone came up. Dude phony and has to be Tell ‘Em cuz he can’t be original

  11. Think y’all are missing the point of what Uncle Snoop is saying. But it’s all good. Take what matters to you from this interview, cos y’all know what’s right and wrong in your own mind for you personally.. and now roll with it, cos them thoughts and opinions are gonna shape who you become. God bless.

P.S. like Nas once said, “I don’t hate, that’s just wasted energy..”

  12. Co sign cesc, you man are missin the point. Snoop is just bringing that positive energy. I dont like soulja boy but i just dont waste energy constantly stating it. Im happy that theres plenty of dope hip hop out there at the same time, no ones forcin me to bump soulja boy so just let him do him. If/when he burns out salute the dude for leaving his mark in the game then get back to listening to pharoahe monch.

  13. @dirty needles realest shit i’ll ever quote

  14. dirty needles for mayor

  16. Snoop aint the only 1 hating…hes jus man enough 2admit the shit…if u knew how many people who dont want people 2do good u would b surprised!! more than u think people.. HATING is not wanting someone 2succeed and that could be in anything..jus bc u dont like some1’s taste in something is not hating…thats an opinion or personal preference. I dont like country music bc i dont like country music…now if i wanted Tim Mcgraw 2fall and bust his lip and not ever sing again thats hating…

  17. After all these years of public hateful comments that didn’t make sense from Snoop towards Crooked I Snoop has finally admitted to hating on him (he even tried to blackball the nigga several times) WOW!

It’s a fucking shame because both of them making power moves together earlier on could have been huge for the west coast 7 years ago! And that’s just real talk, no bias because I’m from the eastcoast! The west would have been more relevant earlier on in the 2000’s and up to now in ‘09!

Hope this starts a big eruption on potent release dates and albums from the artist that need their just due who been doing for heavy on the west for a couple years or more like Glasses Malone, Ya Boy, Bishop Lamont, of course Crooked I, Juice, Roscoe Umali, Jay Rock, Nipsey Hussle, Dubb and more.

    Good shit!

  18. @ Cesc

Only person missing the point is you

  19. Snoop is a grown man. When he came out, there were people like dirty needles (especially from NYC) who were shouting that his shit was wack and it went against the hip-hop code. Years later, them same folks was on the Snoop boat waving a Death Row flag. He recognized the cycle repeating itself and that he was part of it….so he removed himself from the cycle, admitted what he thought was a personal flaw and moved the hell on. Grown man shit. And progressive.

  20. Some of yall dukes should take a page from the great Snoop D-O-Double Jizzle’s pamphlet here.
I mean, the large majority of you must be drinking Hate-R-Ade for breakfast because all you do is hate on me, my lifestyle, comments and of course, my swagg!
Why not be like the Doggfather and come out and apologize for your hating towards me. Not one of you have shown me the resopect I deserve as an elder.
I can often be found on 2dopeboyz dropping valuable jewels and other knowledge about the rap game. Maybe if you would stop your HatE-R-Ade intake, you could learn a thing or two from a veteran such as myself in the game of both life and that of hip hop.
As I mentioned in the past I am a big advocator of non-violence.
I am also here to guide the youth to proper hip hop ediquette.

  21. Stop spamming Robbie

  22. just 2add on 2 MY statment: theres a thin line between Hate & Jealousy!!

  23. Alof of y’all got hare in ya DNA. Shit is disgusting, it stinks thru this screen. Maybe as you grow, you will learn that hatin ppl IS a waste of time. If its wack leave it alone. If evryone else is givin it props and U cant see or hear why, leave it alone but typin or speaking hate helps how? How?
I willtell u, young scrapper! It dont cuz the person u hatin onmost likely dont care what u think. Just say: Not my bag, Thats not the type of thing Im into and keep it movin! Respect Snoop Dogg!

  24. Mayne, I’m glad I’ve got an uncle like Snoop!

Gives me a new outlook on things.
