I don’t know what in the blue fuck is a “Mocky,” but the cut actually goes in. Then again, this isn’t the first wacky cut GZA’s been on this year.

  5. This and that Black Lips song were crazy! I hope he hooks up with the Black Keys for Blakroq

  6. Both this and the Black Lips song are ill, GZA = Master Rhymer, still

  7. Mocky is a canadian bred musician, who currently resides in Berlin. And, well, he did ‘Mickey Mouse Motherfucker’. And a couple fresh albums and worked with many different canadian indie artists.

  8. sounds like a jack johnson song. now that would be a combo. this is some good shit tho. the black lips track was dope. the real GOAT

  9. [...] In “Birds of a Feather” The Genius hooks up with Feist’s producer Mocky for what is great track, however unconventional it may seem to many GZA fans. No stranger to unlikely collaborations, GZA collaborated with the Black Lips earlier this year on “The Drop I Hold”, which can be listened to here. GZA Quotable: “They say the early bird gets the worm/Cuz it never has to fight for the crumbs, take flight and turn/Especially the thousand up in the tree all whistlin’/A natural alarm clock for those that’s listening’.” [via 2 Dope Boyz] [...]
