Here goes the third single off KRS-One & Buckshot’s upcoming album, Survival Skills, which is set to drop on September 15th. Is it wrong that when I got this email I was mostly excited for the Black Milk production and not KRS, Buck and Mary doing their thing? No shots.

My thoughts exactly Shake. haha Black Milk is a beast, point blank. Like Buckshot a lot too tho
dudes need to retire after they get there pension fund from the album.
Black Milk>>>>>
whatever happened to that track with all those artists supposed to be on it with krs-one?
the difference with KRS is that he’s kept it real for his whole career and he still has the skills. he can continue for as long as he damn well wants.
KRS is dope, but yeah I’m only in this for Black Milk too
who else uses that sample…i know ive heard it before…
@BUCK *co-co-sign*
Normally don’t follow comments unless they true. But I really felt the same way. Buckshot Shorty>The BDI>>>>>>>KRS-One & Buckshot combo.
dis be dat wak shit! Goochy man and soulja boi tellsem cud kill dis shit, yall gots to stahp postin dis wak shit
^^^Lol
buckshot a chill dude. he let me beat some jumpoff that came through the studio a few years back ooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
You guys are some ignorant disrespectful hypebeasts. Yes this record might be about 10 years late. Yes Black Milk is possibly a great producer, whose career is taking off instead of leveling out. But that by no means makes this collaboration irrelevant. Buck and KRS are both serious, dedicated artists, who are pioneers of Hip-Hop. I doubt Black Milk would agree that he was the most noteworthy part of the track, indeed Mary with the BDI thug and the Teacher? Alot of these comments look like they might not even know who KRS-One is, which is a real shame. Hip-Hop artists tend to be considered relevant for far shorter than artists in other genres. Miles Davis was almost as musically relevant in 1949 as in 1969, and I think this is possible for Hip-Hop, just ask De La and Kool Keith.
^^^Yep. thats the problem with hip hop “fans”. their so quick to throw away an artist cause of age. Other genres aren’t so disrespectful. The fuck age gotta do with anything? I thought it was for the music but seems as if everyone is focused on everything else instead of the music. I dont get it
Same thing I was thinking when I seen the production credits…
I agree. The Black Milk is what really makes me excited to hear this track. But it’s all dope.
La la-la la-la la-la la…la…la…la
La la-la la-la la-la la..la..la…la…la
Buck! Buck!
Chorus:
Wa da da dang
Wa da da da dang (Ay!)
Listen to my 9 millimeter go bang
Wa da da dang
Wa da da da dang (Ay!)
This is KRS-One…
Verse 1:
Me knew a crack dealer by the name of Peter
Had to buck him down with my 9 millimeter
He said I had his girl, I said “”Now what are you? Stupid?”"
But he tried to play me out and KRS-One knew it
He reached for his pistol but it was just a waste
Cos my 9 millimeter was up against his face
He pulled his pistol anyway and I filled him full of lead
But just before he fell to the ground this is what I said…
Repeat chorus
La la-la la-la la-la la…la…la…la
La la-la la-la la-la la..la..la…la…la x2
Verse 2:
Seven days later I was chillin in the herb gate
But seven days too much when the gossip has to circulate
Puffin sensemilla I heard “”knock knock knock”"
But the way that they knocked it did not sound like any cop
And if it were a customer they’d ask me for a nick
So suddenly I realized it had to be a trick
I dropped down to the floor and they did not waste no time
They shot right through the door so I had to go for mine
They pumped and shot again but the suckas kept on missin
Cos I was on the floor by now, I crawled into the kitchen
Thirty seconds later, boy, they bust the door down
The money and the sensemi’ was lyin all around
But just as they put their pistols down to take a cut
Me jumped out the kitchen, went “”buck! buck! buck!”"
They fall down to the floor but one was still alive
So I put my 9 millimeter right between his eyes
Looked at his potnah and both of them were dead
So just before he joined his potnah this is what I said…
Repeat chorus
La la-la la-la la-la la…la…la…la
La la-la la-la la-la la..la..la…la…la x2
Verse 3:
I gathered all the money and I ran up the block
I said “”This is a perfect time to meet with Scott LaRock”"
But Scott is either psychic or he has a knack for trouble
Cos Scott LaRock showed up in a all-black BMW
I jumped inside the car and we screeched off in a hurry
And Scott said “”What is wrong? Relax, tell me the story”"
I said “”You remember Peter? Well his posse tried to kill me
I’m all right now because the sensemi’ fill me”"
Scott just laughed, he said “”I know they’re all dead
And just before you pulled the trigger this is what you said…”"
Repeat chorus
La la-la la-la la-la la…la…la…la
La la-la la-la la-la la..la..la…la…la x2
It’ Kris & Buck on some Black Milk. Dope. PEACE
^^^ Damn that 9mm song is old as fuck I might still have that on cassette somewhere…
@Crooklyn,
More so, it’s about their length in the game !! Look at who they’re constantly talking about ?!! All those emcees started their career way before these kids knew what Hip Hop was. All those emcees have career just as long as the naysayers lives, which is a problem for them.
nice track
