i dont know about that… I know Yayo wasn’t always as bad as he is now, but Banks was always a couple of steps ahead of 50 and Yayo. Buck and Game as well for that matter. In fact, besides Eminem Banks was possibly the next illest emcee in that whole G Unit / Shady / Aftermath camp

If you just give the nigga some real hot production instead of his favorite fake ass southern-sounding beats I guarantee Yayo would be hotter than he is now. Every song on his new mixtape sounds like Gucci Mane should be on it and not a thugged out rapper from Queens.
I want to know what some of you be listening to cause Banks always been ill. He’s super consistent with everything. He always delivers hot lines and leaves you with something memorable. He’s always been way better then 50 as an MC. He’s the best out the Unit hands down.
I definitely have fond members of the original G-Unit Radio mixtapes; although I wouldn’t go as far to say Yayo was ever on par with Banks simply because when Yayo was on his A-game it was during the same period of time Banks was winning mixtape artist of the year awards.

Every time a Banks track is posted some asshole comes into the thread and mentions Lupe Fiasco or a “conscience rapper.”
You know what Banks is and what he raps about. He raps about money, drugs, women, guns, Southside, haters, beef and occasionally he’ll touch on his personal life. It is what it is. Stop peeping Banks threads and hating on ol’ boy because he isn’t spitting some fantasized version of reality in music you want to hear. There’s plenty of dope artist out there who make music you like. Get over yourselves.
With that said, 730 is dope and haters is aight.
