AC’s Memoirs: 9/11 In Retrospect

What, did you think Shake was going be here to post? It’s Friday night and his long-time-friend’s bornday. I’m pretty sure he’s already acting a fool with his Flipcam, asking randoms to what color the sky is. If not now he will be soon. I’m not gonna be around either, but I was asked to post this. AC announced his next project. I’m too tired to type, so you can just read the description in the flyer above. And if I remember correctly, Shake will be in NYC on 9/11 for a certain concert at MSG. <>

  1. I’m a fan of AC, havnt heard much material other than a song he had with skyzoo produced by hi tek and that track on the cookin soul/nah right mixtape, what should i check out of his

  2. that is the most fucking retarded “tribute” i’ve ever heard of. he releases them at the times of attacks and thinks HE’S making hip hop history?

  3. ^^^Wow dude i’m srry but u a real jackass

  4. Wow…smmfh at this shit.

  5. aight, if you say so

  6. ac > this chris campbell nobody

  7. what concert are you speaking of? Checked the MSG website n didn’t see anything of note at msg, on a day literally cluttered with shows in the city….

Pardon my ignorance if im completely missin a show of major relevance.

  8. I bet its a Jay-Z concert

  9. i am nobody. no fight there.

  10. I’m a big fan of AC, but this seems more like a promotion for AC’s Twitter, rather than a legit tribute. Why not just drop the tape without the antics and the silly concepts? Dah well…

  11. Where can I find all of his songs? AC isn’t really google friendly for an artist. I can’t seem to find any mixtapes or even songs. I have a couple by him, but that’s it.

  12. [...] See the rest here: AC’s Memoirs: 9/11 In Retrospect [...]

  13. seems kind of idiotic to me. its crazy enough that Blueprint 1 (and now BP3) drop on 9/11 – is he trying to steal thunder or really pay tribute?

    THIS HAS GOT TO STOP!

Concept projects are dead, and I’m tired of people taking fucking advantage of every event in human history to make mixtapes. We gotta stop supporting bullshit like this, like for real. 2DB, I love you guys to death, but this is no good.

    “We need a board” – Jay-Z

  15. this is the dumbest shit I ever heard of. there are many ways to market yourself and your music in this digi-era. trying to leech support for a project via a 9/11 concept is horrific. Im a huge supporter of 2db’z and real hip hop, I could get down with a concept cd in some cases but this looks, sounds, and feels extremly wrong. Imagine you lost a love one that day, do you really think you would give a fuck about some dim-witt rapper named AC and his 9/11 “retrospect”??

  16. I don’t see how that’s relevant. Why don’t you wait until you hear it? I don’t understand why people feel the need to jump at this and pass judgement solely on a conceptual basis. It’s no better than attacking Nas for his planned album title last year. I know where some of you are coming from, but don’t have such a closed mind about it.

  17. AC sucks. this guys rhyme game is on par with shorty Lo and lady of rage.

  18. First off AC is fucking wack. You would be hard pressed to find 10 individuals who actually like that shit. Second, this has got to be some of the weakest bitch moves for attention. Releasing songs from twitter at the times of the attacks????

    GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE!

  19. yeah, this is bullshit. who does this shit? someone needs to tell this guy to get the fuck over himself and then smack him in the face with a dead fish

  20. AC is one of my favorite up-and-covers but if these songs aren’t about the lives that were lost or something to do with 9-11, this is a big fail for AC. I will give him the benefit of the doubt though…

  21. Jazzlyn Starr just cut a vocal track written by AC for part of his tribute project and it is Awesome!…The Production by JGlaze is outstanding…..you all should listen in on this Tribute Tune..WQW!

  22. I am looking forward to this tribute! You go man..I want to hear the message to bring our country together. Love that Apple Gig – New Soul – Go JGLAZE

  23. Who is Jazzlyn Starr?

  24. JGlaze and Scott Harris are Producing her.. Damn young though, like 13 but has two CD’s out http://www.myspace.com/jazzlynstarr I listened to the songs and I was shocked hearing “All Yours” – I know it will be a hit – I set as my ringtone.

  25. Hey – I see the comments about me on the site. I’m excited about making the song with AC – he wants the songs to pay tribute to the fallen heros — It will be worth listening to…..hear AC out!
    thanks….Jazzlyn Starr

  26. Im gonna check this out …I think it is for real…Lets judge after we hear the songs.

  27. seems like dude is just trying to deal with some ill s#!t… you gotta respect the intention, right?!?
