Ruh roh… looks like the latest track from Cookin’ Soul didn’t sit well with Mr. Fest (as show in the Twitter messages above). When blends go wrong… and I’m pretty sure we all knew it was a blend right? Even though it was pushed as a new joint, 95% of the folks that listened recognized the ‘kiss verse right away.
EXHIBIT A: Jadakiss – Layin Em Down f. St. Laz (prod. Cookin’ Soul)
EXHIBIT B: Rhymefest – What’s Up f. Jadakiss & Chamillionaire

I think I’m about tired of Rhymefest, but maybe that’s just me.
Niggardly Asses?
that phrase is RAoF by itself.
hmmm… i was with him when he was dissing on charles hamilton. but come on man… these are three spanish dudes who will make a lot more money and be a lot more successful than you. obviously dude can still rap… but still, no one is looking for his album anymore. so rhymefest, stop tweeting about stupidity and continue on trying to release another album.
Damn yall posted that stupid fast…What if somebody else wrote that. I guess thatz why yall on top.dyt
95% of the folks that listened total about what, 7 people? Who gives a fck.
rhymefest is crazy hotheaded for someone tryin to act like he’s such a positive-energy-pushing, knowledge-empowered man. he should stick to strictly rapping and shutting up everywhere else if he doesn’t wanna become a hip hop punchline upon the next incident he throws himself in.
doesn’t he know jada recycles his verses. smh rhymfest needs to give it up no one looking for his ugly ass..
lol rhymefest calm down. cookin soul does need to stop acting like he produces new songs tho…
Rhymefest is good..but he is mad bitter..hes boat came and left..
okay… so i dont get what shake wrote at all. someone mind breakin this one down for me?
^^^ Cookin Soul basically made a new song and blended Jadakiss’ feature verse from one of Rhymefest’s old songs onto their new song and now Rhymefest is acting like a little bitch about it…
Rhymefest sucks and CSoul fronts like he’s got exclusives. Neither are impressive, and both should be happy they get any type of play period. Maybe CS can go and jack yet another Spanish Bizzarro beat. Yes, I just talked shit on the internet.
I wasn’t aware that St. Laz was a wack ass rapper… the bit that I’ve heard from him has actually been quite decent.

Rhymefest WOULD be makin a big deal out of this.
Rhymefest is dope but he should control his temper a bit, especially online.
@dynamicshots thank you… dude acts like that shit aint never happen in the past..
Fuck this faggot ass old washed up dirt rapper fuck u ch>this bitch and also cookin soul > rhymefest
he does know it was a blend right?
Cookin’ Soul is 3 dudes.
‘Fest is amusing, I liked Blue Collar, he fills out a Posse Cut nicely sometimes, but the bottom line is his lyrics are better when other rappers are spitting them.
Rhymefest be on some other shit lol
Wow there’s a bunch of haters/cookin soul stans up in here I see. If someone jacked a feature off your album and tried to pass it off as their own, y’all wouldn’t be happy either. Based on those tweets, fest isn’t overreacting, just acknowledging the situation basically. God forbid he express his opinion on twitter (smh). I’ll admit dude hasn’t really been impressing me on the music tip lately (he does go in on that joint with latifah tho), but I will say Blue Collar was a really dope record.
the blue collar joint was dope, but the fact remains that rhymefest jumps at any given situation like someone threatened his kids without waiting a minute and getting anything straight. i don’t care for cookin’ soul either way, but if fest would’ve looked into who the dudes actually are, then he would’ve realized their whole career was based on blends and mash-ups and they weren’t trying to act like it was an exclusive jada joint.
it’s the same thing with his dumb charles hamilton beef. he recorded the diss track after CH dropped a line in a freestyle claiming that he LOST to fest in a rap battle. el che doesn’t know how to keep his damn cool. and it only makes it stand out worse because he puts up this image of being this super intelligent, enlightened dude who spits all conscious for the betterment of his people. but it turns out he’s just a lisping arrogant prick with a one-hot-album-for-his-whole-career-average.
^^^ This
Umm dissing St. Laz is a bad move… St. Laz isnt really a rapper hes more so a gangbanger than a lyricist type guy
If every artist that had his verse used on a blend joint decided to be a cowardly fucktard, this kinda shit would happen on the daily. Fortunately, most artists realize what a blend is, and accept that other people use the art of making a blend, as their livelyhood. Could you imagine if every beatsmith made a big deal or beef everytime an emcee used one of their beats to drop a freestyle? WTF. Even more reason why this shit is foolish beyond belief.
everyone here is looking at this from a fan’s perspective…
rhymefest can suck a fucking dick! Everyone who knows Cookinsoul knows what they do, the do remixes with acapellas n dope ass beats, they took jadakiss’s verse because he is much better and much more popular than rhymefest but that shit is nothing personal. I know them niggas n they legit, rhymefest is too fucking stupid to realize what this cats do, he doesnt even know they are 3, 2 fucking dum to be in the game, by now he should know that they are producers n that madd famous reppers are working with them, including Jadakiss. I aint hating on the nigga cuz he is a good MC but he is talking shit that he doesnt even know!
I betchu all the anti Rhymefest comments are St. Laz, same dude was banned from DatPiff for manipulating views lol.
