Now here’s some funny shit that happened to me last night: after spinning Che Grand’s listening party (I’ll be spinning his release party next week in Brooklyn also *cheap plug*), I ended up getting lost in the groove and spun for an extra 90 minutes, before chilling with a few heads afterward and watching doofy YouTube videos and such. By the time I leave Brooklyn to get to this show (which I had VIP for) the sumbidge was over. FAIL. Anyways, here’s wild random footage of two artists whom I thought would never be in the same room with each other, much less share the stage, courtesy of Steven.

Hip Hop, Video

Just sat through this video. Ross mentioned Rakim, but I didn’t see them “sharing the stage together” at any point….though it was bad enough just seeing Kid Capri out there co-signing this guy’s lame-ass.
Meka… you seem like a good person to ask.
Are there any bars/lounges in Manhattan (or even Brooklyn) that play good hip hop? Even if it’s just on a certain night.
