The first time I heard Cobra Starship was during the Snakes On a Plane craze (they had the lead single/video). I really liked it too but was was let down (overall) by their album. I then saw them live and thoroughly enjoyed their performance. So I’ve been waiting on new material. This is a joint off their upcoming album, Hot Mess, and it features B.o.B. Points anyone?

I’ve always been confused of collabos like this….cross genre. Sounds like cross gender which makes it even worse.
Tell ya the truth i heard only 20~30 secs and skipped to Bobby’s part the changed song lucky me the song next was “The Day i Died” From Just Jack(What an awsom song).
Relly didn’t feel this.
This song, uh, sucks. But Bobby Ray’s verse is ill.

I’m with Shake on this one. I thought they might have something when I heard the Snakes on the Plane song. Heard the album and was pretty disappointed. A couple decent tracks though.

that track with travis was hott. i actually just deleted them from my pod to make space… going to skip on this too… b.o.b or no b.o.b
I kinda prefer Cobra starships up tempo stuff and those tracks hit hard live or through the stereo. But this.. Iono.. I will say the beat comes alive when B.O.B steps up. I just hope the next album is more consistant.

They’re not emo and Shake that album w/ the snakes on a plane song is garbage. Viva La Cobra is actually decent.
Snakes on a Plane was awesome.
The site is not a “hip hop site” its a fucking music blog, with a mostly hip hop focus, but fortunately both Meka and shake are multi-faceted and can appreciate more than one genre of music. You should too. Evolve.
C.S. were Greeeat live and I quite enjoy their new song with Leighton Meester, so points on this indeed.
