  3. Yea every track Emile produced was bangin. Expected more from the album tho, second half of the album was dope.

  4. dope

  5. cant wait for the drop

  6. I’m holding off until the album comes out so I can buy it. Seeing the leak was tempting, but I’d rather support.

  7. CRAZY!!!!!!! Damn, speechless
    On repeat already

  8. Im on 11 I believe of listening to the track full on through with no skips.

Im buying two. My favorite track is Cut You Loose though.

  9. This is one of my top three from the album for sure.

    Crooked’s grenade line is classic.

  10. “cut you loose” also my favorite..album was alright

  11. My top three:

    Uno. Cut You Loose.
    Dos. Onslaught 2
    Tres. Salute/Sound Off

  12. I’m one of those 90% but I am still BUYING the album. One becuase it’s good and two it’s my birthday.

SERIOUSLY NO PUSSY RADIO TRACK CLUB SHIT JUST STR8 HIP HOP

  15. To be honest, I thought the album was a bit of a let down considering the hype it has/had. It seemed like they spent 80% of the album talking about how good they were.

  16. [...] until your death. Here are two new tracks from the Slaughterhouse conglomerate courtesy of 2DopeBoyz. These tracks both go harder than concrete, and I can assure you that I will be at the store on [...]

  17. The album was fuckin insane. Every verse Crooked did was sick

  18. Album hasn’t left the Pioneer since it leaked. I wish Joey had a voice on Pray but I’ll get over it. Maybe a few more tracks, but only because it left me wanting more. Please support the album is you dl’d.

My top three since everyone else did…
    Microphone is easily top 3
Killaz (Royce’s verse was too ill)
    Rain Drops/Onslaught

Does anyone else thing Crooked I and Royce have similiar flows? At times i couldnt tell who was who

  19. These cats single handedly keeping hip hop alive for a lot of people. Do the right thing and support. Just look how many free classics they’ve (minus crooked i) have given to the hip hop community.

  20. how does no one have sound off in their top 3? i thought that was the best track on the album.

  21. I always get lost with who is who when it comes to Royce or Crook until I hear the City Drops.

It left everyone wanting more (in a good way) because it was that good.

& @yeah. Well, it’s straight lyrics. no one is expecting Supreme Subject matter except for maybe on Rain Drops & Pray. it’s not that the talked about how good they were. it’s HOW they did, lol.

  22. ^^ for me the double time flow kinda took away from what they were saying

  23. Amazing.

  24. I love that there are so many different songs in people’s Top 3. It means there was a lot to like and it was just a matter of what appealed most to you personally.

    Mine:
    1. Rain Drops
    2. Onslaught 2
    3. Sound Off

  25. it also featuring fatman scoop

  26. 1.cut you loose
    2.microphone
    3.sound off

  27. Album was too short but im feelin…

    1) Cut U Loose
    2) Onslaught 2
    3) Microphone

Deluxe edition should have some better bonus tracks than that. Move On Remix and Warriors are too classic to not have on here.

  28. *pre-orders on itunes* aint gonna download but they still gonna get my money. Album is dope.

  29. damn only 26 comments??
yeah errbody and their momma definitely got a leaked copy….and I’m no different lol
still plan to buy it though because I’ve waited way too long for this cd to drop, and for me not to buy a hard copy (pause) would be the biggest insult to hip-hop

  30. album was a major let down..they shoulda stuck more with the concept of the group name in terms of content… i mean how u gonna call ur group slaughterhouse than make half ur album soft after releasing a bunch of hard shit to get ppl hyped…gay imo but theres about 5 solid tracks from it ill still bump..not a BAD album but definitely a let down for anyone who is truly a fan of these mc’s

  31. smh @ dudes pausing themselves over saying hard copy, get real u fruitcake

  32. the album is dope plan on coppin it Rain Drops is one of my favs

  33. I did download the album already and liked it. Just pre-ordered the album and looking forward to the bonus tracks.

  34. fav tracks (3)
    1.sound off
    2.rain drops
    3.cuckoo
(smh at “not tonight” reusing tht intro from the padded room lol)

  35. The mind of budden skit was pretty funny. He’s thinking “pause” like every three seconds..haha.

  36. @ wr blank
I swear, I thought I was the only one who noticed the similarities between those two tracks.

  37. Copped the leak, copping hard copy on 8-11, might even cop the Deluxe from iTunes.

  38. @ fulltimebitch

    any reason to hate huh?

  39. Good to see not a lot of hate. Some hate is expected with everything. Royce and Crooked do sound very similar. Cukoo is nice and I like the skit before it but one thing I didn’t like was the Method Man comment again. I get it in the skit but then again in his verse on (I can’t remember which song) was just a slight bit unneccesary.

  40. Slaughterhouse stannery is out of control on the internet…

    *looks around*
    *turns up The One*

  41. Joell is a beast…. that shit was dope…

  42. My favorite song from the album, Ortiz & Crooked both killed it & the beat is dope.

  43. This song is one of my favorite tracks, one of the few songs on the album where all 4 of them went equally hard.

Still going to cop this on 8-11!

  44. Seriously…Joell is a beast and when royce is clickin’ ain’t nobody doper…but, I’m really not feeling Slaughterhouse as a group. Don’t know if it’s the dynamic, the beats or what but of the 5 or 6 leaked songs I’ve peeped so far only a couple are worth listening to. Oh well, I gotta keep it real…

  45. i’m waiting 4 the album..

  46. Oh and if you think this group is single handedly keeping hip hop alive right now, start listening to some gospel or rock or some shit. There’s way hotter shit out right now.

  47. the dopeboyz know what tracks to drop, this and microphone are probably my 2 favorites right now

  48. best album ive heard in 2009

  49. i cant see how dudes are saying royce and crooked sound similiar…even to the point where they cant tell them apart? r u fucking kidding me? they are as distinguishable as night and day imo…..yall must be some real casual listeners posing as fans or just got hip to crooked or royce..shits disgusting

  50. Real talk. Are you fuckin kidding me? Royce and Crook are not even remotely similar in flow, delivery or vocabulary as each other. Crook dismantles Royce every time. Thats the easy way to tell. I agree with fulltimeboss, only rookie hip hop heads cant decipher which artist is spittin.

  51. Oh yeah, top three tracks:

    - Lyrical Murderers
    - Microphone
    - Cut You Loose

  52. It’s a great album, but it still left me wanting something a bit more. There were about 3 tracks that seemed way too watered down but whatever. Could’ve improved beat selection a bit I hate to say on a couple joints, but I guess that’s how you know Joey is truly a part of this group lol

  53. might be difficult finding a hard copy in the uk….hopefully amazon stocking this.

  54. lyrically the album is pretty average, just have to say
amazing flows but that’s about it, very little interesting subject matter

  55. august 11 shopping list:
    1.diapers
    2.bread
    3.gas
    4.newports
    5.SLAUGHTERHOUSE!!!!

  56. Shits dope… is that Fif talkin shit at the start of Salute ?(track11)

  57. Ok let me be honest here…. these four MCs gassed up everyone about how lyrical and how hip hop they are. They created this group named slaughterhouse which to me stands for slaughtering every MC in the game. They have done various interviews for album promos. Now I am not a big fan of budden and I think the other three are your basic average MC. I am not saying they suck.

However, after watching them create the buzz like they did. I really expected more from this album. I have to be honest. I could not find one banger on the entire album……I will also gove props and say the first track is good. But, I feel like they spead the track up rather then rapping that fast. But for these four to brag about how lyrical and how hip hop they are and for the album to sound like this is a clear let down. I am not being biased. I am just being honest. These four should have came better. I rate the album 6/10. It had the potential to be a classic. but the forumla used was incorrect.

  58. i personaly thought that this was the worst track on the album, the only one i skipped. all the rest are really dope, definatly worth a buy. True Hip-hop!

  59. either way with the leak or not still supportin slaughterhouse i like the group so good look on the track slaughterhouse supporter reppin southjerz here

  60. I did not download it. I listened to it at my boys crib out in LA. I am not supporting it because I felt that they lied to us and did not put their hearts into it. Why should i have to support;

  61. if you are true hip hop head, this is exactly what the game needs creativity, lyrics, and versatility. slauhgterhouse is transforming this watered down carbon copy rap game. Real Hip Hop stand up!

  62. lmfao this mother fucker ching gon say slaughterhouse is ass and then say ricky is one of the best to ever toucha mic? nigga no

  63. P’cola,

Its my opinion. Which is what I am entitled to as a US Citizen. Secondly, is the obcsenities neccessary?

  64. this cat really jus took it to im a US citizen. smh.. you can have whatever opinion you want but when you wrong you gon get called and as for the obscenities fuck shit damn bitch trick slut

  65. Fuck your opinion.

And please don’t type another essay trying to justify your hate, no one gives a fuck.

  66. You must be a little man or you get abused by everyone therefore you act tough on a computer. It is all good. your the one who looks like a spoiled little brat.

  67. I forgot that elementary school is out for the summer.

  68. love the album, have it on repeat

    1.cut you loose
    2.onslaught 2
    3.rain drop
    4.lyrical murders
    5.salute

  69. I think some people dont like the album bc of some of the beats and if thats the case u dont understand lyricism….beats help rappers who cant spit…Slaughterhouse doesnt have that problem

  70. i agree. aside from the first track. the beats are below average.

Does anyone have the procer breakdown for the album?

  71. Whether you think the album is great or not (i think its dope) id support anyway so they can get some better beats for their next album ching. Im sure they will grow as a group and you should support the idea of lyricism returning to the mainstream. hopefully this album does well enough to create even greater hype for a 2nd album and get them some good beats

  72. I hear you yo….but I have a feeling they will not stay together for another album. Joe buddens emotions and ego will lead to the demise of slaughter house. Again, I am not predicting the future. This is just my opinion

  73. @fulltimeboss and Killa B Ching: so they should make songs about Slaughtering pigs and stuff? GTFO! Who needs tough talk and crappy lyrics? Slaughter stands for killin the MIC, the tracks, the lyrics, not other people (Mcs).

And Killa B Ching, the comment section is also for people to express disagreement with the comments in it… so don’t play the victim. You started “bitching” around that they “lied to us, what’d you expect? That’s just pathetic… everything you’re complaining about, they gave us: top notch lyricism, real hip hop and heart in the music.

The problem is, for you to recognize it, you oughta be smart enough to get it.

  74. PS: sayin “This is just my opinion” all the time so that people won’t get at you is just coward! Of course it’s “your opinion”! But that doesn’t make it unquestionable!!!

  75. First of all, I enjoyed the album. And in regards to previous comments, Crooked and Royce sounded alike during the parts when Royce wasn’t spitting as hard. They were rapping faster in Sound Off, but it was more about building up energy throughout each of their verses (except in Budden’s part…ouch). My favorites: Sound Off, Lyrical Murderers, MIcrophone, Not Tonight, The One, Onslaught 2 and Cut Ya Loose.

  76. Fredrico…u r a faggit bitch

  77. Fredrico u want respect opinions? Now u get no respect ya dirty dog. Now what tuff…u messin wit gangstaz

  78. ^^ i swear man.. some of the ppl in these c-sections

  79. One of the only albums that I can sit (drive), press play , and listen to all of the songs. Beats might not always be on point but lyrics are. My favorite track on the album next to Cut You Loose. Best album, so far, of 2009. Still got more shit to come though…

  80. DRAKE ALBUM COVER IS RELEASED: http://twitpic.com/967fa/full

  81. I’m stills hocked someone said crooked outshines royce, crooked has lyrics with no versatility. I listened to his hip-hop weekly series and he’s great but it’s the same voice same flow every track throughout 52 songs, just slightly changed to fit the beat. Royce the style changer.

  82. @The Most Hated: I feel you man, lol! It’s sad.

By the way, I had the same issue about Crooked I and Royce, their voice tone is similar! They don’t have the same flow and they both are dynamic, but that doesn’t help when you can’t tell which one’s voice it is.

  83. “Plus im so fly/tell derek fisher I need a lob”

Crooked I is amazing, love the album ,Microphone is my fav track on it buyin 4 sure. If u think the group iz average,u definetly are been biased for some reason! Support this type of shit
