It does not matter whether or not Budden exist “outside of the internet”, the internet has billions of people participating everyday. The JBTV forums have 10k members. If every single one of them went and bought his album on the net or in a store, he would sell more in that week than (unfortunately) Dilla sold in his first week J$P was on the shelf.
Now do sells matter? Of course they don’t, but my point is, don’t make it seem like just because his domain (no pun intended) is the internet, that that does not mean he doesn’t have a cult following of people who consume all of his material he puts out.
And if you want to be real, La Coka Nostra (while the members are very respected rappers) started their group buzz on the net (myspace to be specific) and have lived mostly on the web. Would people call them “internet rappers” although that’s were Ill Bill has gained most of his popularity? Your answer for both JB and LCN should be the same.

On topic. I think it’s good that Royce and them are holding Joe back from being the loose cannon he usually is. Deck is the one who restarted it, and I’m sure U-God and the rest are itching to blast this whole thing off, and Royce & Joell know what this may lead too. The last thing they want/need is NY split between SH fans and Wu fans. We’ll see where this leads.
Oh and lastly, Budden’s first album went Gold, none of Deck’s has made certification. That’s one chip but neither of them have classic SOLO albums. Uncontrolled Substance is a great album, but not classic.

So Budden using the Triumph verse is already showing how great Deck (and Wu-Tang) is. Ok, to be honest, i haven’t heard lots of Joe Budden songs, but if he has some classic verses i would have read it on the internet when I was looking for it.
And Budden is in the Slaughterhouse group, existing of 4 MC’s. What was the first group in history existing of more than 3 members? Right, the Wu-Tang Clan. Budden has to keep quiet, so he can show respect for the Clan that paved the way and introduced a lot of new concepts to rap/hip-hop.

I saw Inspectah Deck onstage when RZA went on afterwards, and then he even came over to the side of the crowd and signed autographs. My friend actually got pictures with Inspectah Deck later in the night when he was walking through the crowds, he stood right by my friends in the crowd. I find it hard to believe joe really tried to find Inspectah Deck like he claims since INS was onstage for awhile after he said it, and even chilled with people in the crowds.
