That nickleback line isn’t that clever. Seriously, you don’t have to be smart to get what he’s talking about. It’s just really corny. The entire rock name checks is corny. That’s the problem I have with the song. The beat isn’t bad nor is it phenomenal. The chorus is again just aight – not bad but not amazing. They all flow well but what they’re saying is, for the most part, corny.
This along with the MOP song are both suspect. As a 1st single this sucks balls and I like all of the members of Slaughterhouse. I get the feeling this is going to be like The Firm. Great lineup but shit album.
