jimmmy speaks the truth, all the hater bullshit needs to stop. true some cats are indeed hating just because homie is getting mainstream but some people just arent fans. i like uptown and successful, but everything else is boring to me. his buzz is blowing up now because hes very marketable and many online “hip hop: fans dismiss underground cats that get in the mainstream, which is a got damn shame.

He’s turning into a pop star…. wonderful. We needed another person to blur the line of rap and pop to the general public.

I’m not saying he’s not good or he’s not talented, but he needs to care less about if people can remember the words on every song and and concentrate more on writing what he feels is real.

It’s funny how buzz brings haters as if he wasn’t nice before “So Far Gone”
He was underatted now people realize his talents and like him, now he’s overatted. Fucking bipolar ass so called “hip-hop” fans.

You praise underdogs, give easy passes to the less talented (out of sympathy) and pre-judge/redicule the good artists because their supposed be “phenominal” beyond your comprehension.

Some of you so called “Fans” (not all but a lot) are the reason why so many rappers have indentity and consistancy problems. Artists are just mirroring your 5 billion+ crtiques on all your disslikes.

At the risk of being called a racist and “hater,” I admit that I’m not the world’s biggest fan of Drake. Since first hearing best I’ve ever had, the part when he switches instantly from singing to rapping (and his volume escalates) has just been buggin’ me. Besides, I STILL think Prozak Turner rocked the sample better on “The Ballad of Adrianna Sage.” Just sayin…

I completely agree with you. People loved Drake when he was the best kept secret in hiphop. Now that your regular listener knows about him, all of a sudden people want to put him down. It’s a combination of people hating on success and jealousy that their favorite secret has to be shared with the masses. And the fact that he’s associated with Lil Wayne and underground internet heads can’t seem to take that. They think “wack by association.”
