Oddisee – SoulCulture Interview (Video)

Hailing from Washington DC via Sudan, SoulCulture caught up with Hip Hop artist Oddisee last month whilst he was in London working on collaborative projects with Olivier Day Soul and Tranquil.

Fiddling about on his Casio keyboard as a kid, Oddisee went from emulating radio classics to battling in high school.

In our video interview, Oddisee talks about taking his music across Europe, making free albums and mixtapes work in your favour, and how download numbers can translate into a pretty comfortable label situation. He also expands on his plans-in-motion to create his own kind of Motown.
