All the Asher Roth fans are mad cause he is their hero. But thats cause you guysare like him. It’s not that hes just rapping about what he knows. He is playing a role! your role. He spits ok, but it’s not like he’s a hiphop dude. He self admitted that he only started rhyming a little while ago. Bekay on the other hand been doin his thing and doesn’t have to worry about getting slapped in the face at shows(which happened to Asher recently).

asher is a gimmick. rapping about what he knows? come on even his mom aired him out on an interview. Hes hot and his album was cool. but his image is a gimmick and some artist need that to be successful but him embracing his race is just part of the gimmick

I peeped Bekay slaughter like 4 dudes at fightklub a while back. Real talk. He has some bars. I don’t care for Asher Roth or the angle he is trying to play. It is pretty lame to act a certain way to sell records. That shit has Steve Rifkin written all over it! Believe me I know about this music game. They find a rapper and give him an image. Asher is the college boy cause Rifkin said so. BELIEVE THAT.
