As promised, Hov’s new video premiered on BET after the ‘09 Awards Show. Who else has Lyor Cohen as their driver, plays cards with Harvey Keitel and hoops with LeBron? Haha… and it looks like Blueprint 3 is officially done folks, the caesar is back!

new york really pushin to get lebron in 2010
As I Said in the other post;
Very Cool.
I knew this joint was gon b up in a matter of minutes
late.
and im a flaming homosexual who loves autotune
Oh, and the middle thing, the:
“Oh Wow, WOW”
that made lmao.
meh….
1st of all, R.I.P. the King Of Pop, and secondly, R.I.P. Auto tune (when it’s used a catchy element to give a song something it’s not). MJ used his natural vocal talent which is what all singers should strive to do and because of his genuine skill he became the greatest of all time. & LMAO when Jay’s getting a shape-up at the end.. dude had me rollin’.
can someone most a link to the mastered and dirty version of this song for me
thanks in advance
Fucking Dope!
i aint hating but the video isnt anything special & neither is the song. i mean what is he talking about in his verses? im kinda let down by jigga..(-_-)
Pretty okay video. I still need to hear some “Never Change-esqe” type classics from Jay on this new album.
I’m kinda disappointed with dude too, cuz I heard he may have personally had his hand in preventing Chris Brown from performing at the BET Awards and paying homage to MJ. I don’t care about all the other bull…case or no case, Chris deserved to be a part of that tribute to the legend.
Here’s the article that was speaking about it.
http://www.examiner.com/x-13311-NY-Celebrity-Headlines-Examiner~y2009m6d28-Did-JayZ-keep-Chris-Brown-from-Michael-Jackson-tribute
jay cuttin his hair…which means the album is done!
dope video bp3 album of the year nxt to lasers and o yea rip to autotune and may mj rest with the angels in heavins spotlight he was nothing less than a god of music i truly believe god sent him here for us to enjoy!
is people cutting their hair the new trend signaling a project droppin’? lol
i swear someone said that about lupe 2 how he was performing not too long ago and finally got a cut..
Fuck Chris Brown. I hope he gets black balled until he gets several therapist.
Jay’s got class years beyond these young boys and their lame ass swag.
New York for Lebron would be disappointing seeing how I’m from Cleveland but I give a fuck about sports. It was a nice feature.
@Young Son
He really doesn’t deserve the RIGHT to preform a tribute.
From what I know, MJ never smacked around no women.
So why should someone that does get the right to honor him?
I say, To Hell With Chris Brown. I want his head on a totem pole.
word, I thought Jay-z was above that petty bullshit. how can you not allow someone the opportunity to move past a horrible mistake? Everyone needs redemption.
I really like this video. A lot.
@ Young Son – “Chris deserved to be a part of that tribute to the legend.”
Why?
I think the word “deserved” is a bit strong.
heres the link for the D.O.A Track..free download
my bad i clicked too fast..heres the download link. If u need any tracks let me know i got u

IDK y’all, I just feel like Chris Brown, a side from everything else, was always hailed as like a new generation version of MJ. He’s a talented cat. For Michael Jackson fans who were able to look past Michael’s faults and focus on his talent, I would think they’d do the same for Chris Brown. Everybody makes mistakes.
When can we move on? Even Rihanna has moved on and forgive the man. She was back with him a week later and even told the judge she refused to honor the 50 Yards ruling.
IDK…it’s just my opinion that Chris should have been a part of the tribute, regardless. I saw Bobby Brown up there…and we all know the deal with that…
Has to be one of my favorite videos of the year. LMAO @ Jay’s jump shot. WOW. Well at least Jay’s shot looks a little better than Shawn Marion’s weird ass jumpshot. The scene with Hov playing cards with Harv was dope too.
is it me or is jay like the worst dressed nigga in the game?
^^^
Thats kinda dirty but what would you expect?
Jay works like the mafia and once you’ve harmed family and have been blackballed your basically screwed.
that was meant for young son lol
1. Why is he trying to look like Kanye so hard = I’m sorry man Jay seems to bite someones style or a trend everytime he comes out
2. Your not in the mafia and your surly not the man they directed American Gangster after so relax with all the don, resteruant-pasta eating wanna be italian stuff.
3. The beat is amazing but let me actually pick this apart and see how lyrically nice it is, I did so and I was left unimpressed, I mean the song is GOOD but lets not act like this is the nicest shit ever.
4. Why does Jay always come out acting real but support the bullshit, isnt he and Def Jam (Def Jam South) supporting the DJ Khaled-wedabest-autotune-nonlyrical Southern style?
5. Why are you featuring Jeezy & Rick Ross on cd’s and leaving your fellow new york producers dry??? Wtf man be different, okay then shock someone come out with a Jay Electronica, Cormega, throw in some Primo or some producer from NY, shit anything besides another DOA remix Featuring DJ Khaled, Young Jeezy & Rick Ross.
Im sorry I love JayZ and this song is good but lets not act like its SOO LYRICALLY SHARP its just a cool song to listen to, I just dont completely believe that he is the appropriate guy to come out dissing something that his label kind of stood for (keep in mind I dont know that he was the 100% brains behind supporting the Southern music push)
Ive never really liked jay-z before…but this beat is the shit! i’ll give him my respect after bp3 comes out…moment of silence…
Some of the people on here are acting like they know for a fact that Jay-Z had somethin to do with Chris Brown not performing. Yall are some real tabloid reporters.
I’ve been bumpin this song since the link first went up here, but I still don’t know how you can have a song like this and give weezy, kanye and t-pain a pass. I mean, he was on SLU, right? He gives a shout out to Khalid too? I just don’t get it. We need Hov to carry a big stick right now so we can turn our radios back on.
lol @ Jay-z wearing the lupe/charles hamilton jacket
i prefer the original song…
People need to stop saying this shit with Chris (who beats women up) Brown was a mistake. If it was a mistake then I need to go find some women that need their ass beat and say it was a mixtake. The fuck outta here with that bullshit. Someone oughta go up to Virginia and beat his ass within an inch of his life to know how it feels but his career is over so it really doesn’t matter. Anyways, song is great and video is great. RIP MJ and RIP Autotune.
“this aint no strip club” lmaoo..hov is the best and nobody can say different
n about chris brown..i heard he got permission to be apart of a tribute..they may do another its not like the bet awards is the only show thts gunna do it
Ya fucking idiot commenting on how Jay dresses.
Jay-Z totally made that shot against LeBron.
To the “uhh” up top that is trying to impersonate me, get a life, i dont say “late” for every post…only the ones that are actually late
I agree with young son we all mistakes why dwell on the past can’t we just focus on the future
what can shot is that..that shyt looks uglyy
@james
dude its not thats serious. You just talking to me like that cause you behind a computer screem
jay didn’t even go hard and this song is hotter than what is on the airwaves now…his performance was 20x better than young money’s…
*screen*
this songs getting kinda annoying

He’s come a long way since that little bit of “acting” he did in the State Prop movie and in his early videos. Jay really kinda did his thing there.
Dudes talking about how they’re not impressed by the video or the lyrics, whatever. You’re entitled to your opinion, I suppose. But you characters knocking his gear, his hair, his fucking pasta-eating…save the beauty parlor talk.
video was wack as fuck n im a jay-z fan so called street record…jay-z’s a sell out smh!!!
The Video is similar to Blue Magic (On Some Movie Stuff) Jay Z rolls only with Power Move-Like Bosses. Lyor Drives the Car, Harvey Kietel Daps Jay’s Hand Then Salutes, Plus in the middle of a kitchen plays cards. This is the stuff Bosses are made of. Good Videom Can’t Wait for the record and R.I.P. To the King of Pop Michael Joseph Jackson.
It was actually pretty cool to watch on the tv.
Can’t say that for a lot of the music videos nowadays.
good video, movie like
Fuck MJ all he did was molest a bunch of lil boys. I hope that faggot cocksucker rotts in hell. Let chris preform. That bitch hit him first so she deserved these women want equal rights then lets give it to em. U man enough to hit me u man enough to get knocked out.
GONE
like i said yesterday, cool vid, but the track isnt it

SIKE, I love penis!
G.O.A.T.
*Runs to a bomb shelter waiting for the fallout*
Not even this video can attempt to save this shit track. I really hope Jigga keeps it more American Gangsta than Coldplayish on BP3
I swear, for the 1st minute I thought he was gonna pick up a phone and say ”Morpheus?”
2. Your not in the mafia and your surly not the man they directed American Gangster after so relax with all the don, resteruant-pasta eating wanna be italian stuff.
……………………………………………
Im happy to let Jay-Z and other black people think they “run the streets mayne”, cos all they do is run around robbing ur ipod and clothes… lol. we all know who gets more “paper” and whos the real gangsters. let them be the “gangsta’s, aite” lol.

Video is fucking SICK…very dope…cant wait for BP3!!!
Wow you all stay on Jay’s dick hard. Dude is not even a top 25 MC, I’ll never understand the fascination. Hes average at best. He doesn’t do anything special lyrically. I mean dude delivered a wack album that was filled with Dre beats.
A STATEMENT AGAINST FAKE SHIT
@Unxpected SMH at you thinking Jay Electronica is from NY. Learn something before you start blabbering bullshit.
@kuruption you just need to STFU. You’re a perfect display of ignorance and hate at it’s best

Jay-Z Makes Sure Auto Tune is Dead, “D.O.A. (Death of Autotune)” « MIND INVERSION said this on June 29th, 2009 at 5:03 am
Unxpekted, shut the fuck up….you blabbering wannabe backpacker. Do the research before you open your mouth. You’re trying too hard to sound hiphop. Why the fuck would Jay shout out Cormega or Jay Electronica??? He doesn’t know them or hang with them. Dork.
Jay so paid he can blow up bottles of the finest liquers,30 copies of Autotune and pay for famous mfers to be in his video and this is still probably his cheapest video.
Unxpected fuckin’ failed for that comment.
Jay Electronica is from the south, you shitbrick.
I love that comment, “you’re just commenting to me like that because you’re behind a computer screen.” You’re on the fucking internet. If I knew you in real life we probably wouldn’t be down because I don’t speculate or care on how men dress. You keep proving your a fucking idiot. Man, 2dopeboyz is blog down by idiots of your type to uhhh.
i like the song but yo its bullshit. its the death of autotune and then jigga goes “when weezy uses it its cool. kayne and t-pain have a niche for it”(or something in that way) its like “yo THOSE are people that use that shit too much and damn near ruined a genre in the mainstream” (yall remember when the wu, biggie, you know lyrical shit was mainstream)

I liked it.
As always, I know who brings me the good shit every day.
Thanks again.
@ DMV
Hang Yourself.
@ Doomsamonster
Kanye & T-Pain utilize it the best.
Bobby V. used it well too on that single he had. Beep, I think.
but everyone else is OVER DOING IT, which is why Jay made this.
@ unxpected
yea, like some of you guys said, he takes the L for sayin jay-tronica’s from ny lol, buttt…..
he is right on jay z seemingly bitin on kanye a bit too hard. i mean, jay z’s wolfin ass doo is almost on kanye’s old mullet status. hes bitin on lupes/chamiltons leather jacket style. and on top of all this, for a while he’s been bitin on those huge nerdy glasses that kanye sports, and to a lesser degree, the lumberjack shirts (biggie??)
what i dont like is that where kanye is seemingly creative with the look he tries to go for and how he presents himself, jay stays jockin everyone else…
@all you crackin on everyone talkin about jay’s looks, ur right, at the end of the day a rapper should only be judged lyrically. but the way they present themselves still contributes to the overall product they’re trying to sell as rappers.
even lyrically, everytime i hear “the only rapper to re-write history without a pen”, i can’t help but to think of the line kanye dropped on the joint he did with the teriya-kingz–”do i need a pen, not right now, everything i write now, i don’t even write down”
which brings me to the lyrics of the song. the song is dank and jay z drops a few catch lines, but, being that its jayz (one of the best ever whether you like it or not) and seeing how bangin the beat is, lyrically id want him to just body this beat a little more. i don’t feel he does this. the beat’s way too nice, and what jay did on this lyrically leaves you wanting for more. he shoulda killed this beat. hell, i like the way trey songz went off on doa more than i like what jay did on this track.
That is one ugly-ass jump shot.
Are you guys fucking idiots??
Are you fucking dumb?
Read what I wrote:
Why are you featuring Jeezy & Rick Ross on cd’s and leaving your fellow new york producers dry??? Wtf man be different, okay then shock someone come out with a Jay Electronica, Cormega, throw in some Primo or some producer from NY, shit anything besides another DOA remix Featuring DJ Khaled, Young Jeezy & Rick Ross.
I SAID NY PRODDDDUUUCERR! DJ Premier is a New York PRROOODUCERRR
1. Since when is Rick Ross and Jeezy from NY? I was saying feature a south nigga from New Orleans like Jay Electronica fuck those fake ass artists man.
2. Stop sucking dudes dick, hes not giving you a penny for defending his “musical/street-credibility” haha your a fucking nerd and know nothing about hip hop.
3. Sure Jay-Z doesnt know Cormega but Nas does, he performed on stage with him as well as AZ. He didnt know Khaled he got introduced and now dude shouts him out, as well as…. LIL WAYNE? Wtf kill yourself. You put Lil Zane on a track before an NY artist. Your the NY king and you cant recruit a NY artist???
4. If you think HIP HOP revolves around the making of a “Blueprint” album which was bitten off KRS-One, YES JAY BITES EVERYFUCKING THING, from Kanyes style, to the Southern-style spitting, to Nas’ style, to Biggies lines, to 2Pacs music, to Frank Sinatras style, Black Moon’s own beat, to Obamas new “change” type persona. I mean its good to evolve but damn man blaintantly biting? Man get the fuck outta here.
You all are idiots and cant read and or potentially dumbasses but its all good, its just hilarious that all you spent time talking shit when you didnt even read what I wrote.
PS If you think Jay killed this beat, then I can see why you would support him being on tracks with Lil Wayne cuz he da best rappa alive? right nigguh yeeaaah yo. Fucking losers
*Listens to FOOD STAMP’s Dilla vs. Classic Hip Hop (Rakim, Pharoah Monch, Madlib, Common, Blackstar, Wu-Tang, Big Daddy Kane, TCQ, DLS, etc)
ok, who let this this guy in ^^..if you don’t like it, get back to your sorry ass life.
So liking the Death of Autotune = a good life
Andrew = not smart
J is the greatest raper alive, the vid and the song is hot. People just mad cuz he’s a multi- millionaire and still the HARDEST RAPER here
HARDEST RAPPPPERR haha fucking nerd, you like hard things? Oh your a fag oh okay. Hes the greatest rapper alive right next to younngg jeeezzyy and lil waynnneee and gucci mane. Haha fucking dumb “rap nonhip hop heads”
you all are obvioulsly GAy.. if you hated on Jay-Z. You know nothing about Hip-Hop bruh. Autotune is fucking singing not rapping, so get that bullshit out of here. And if you dont know what he’s talking about in the song then your a fucking dumbass, Jay is the truth and will go down in history, he’s been holding it down since the 90’s. All ya’ll haters are fake as fuck, and as far as that Chris Brown shit fuck that woman beating bitch nigga deserves an ass woppin anyway.
