Sleep (of Oldominion) – Talk About It x Lothar f. Del the Funky Homosapien

Another dope artist from the North West featured on 2dbz? You bet.
On June 30th the Oldominion emcee will be releasing his third album, Hesitation Wounds [pre-order here], on Strange Famous Records . The follow up to one of my favorite albums in 2005 (Christopher); the album features Del the Funky Homosapien, Grayskul and production from the likes Reanimator, Smoke, Zebulon and more. With that said I’d like to post the first single.

The first single will be Talk About It, an old school-style cut displaying a dizzying flow produced by SFR labelmate Reanimator. Lyrically, Sleep takes a battle stance against manufactured artists while refusing to dilute his style or message for the sake of mainstream acceptance.

  6. this is actually really surprising for me to see a post on here about Sleep due to the fact that this blog caters (subjectively IMO) towards the more trendy, hipster, rap/hip-hop culture as opposed to the abstract, left-field.

  7. First time I’ve listened to Sleep, I like the Talk About It track though, has an old school style and fast rapping. Suprise of the day no doubt.

    The Artwork is decent but to me it doesn’t really suit the track.

  10. Dope, real nice to see Sleep getting some recognition on here! Been a fan of his since he dropped Christopher, and I had that on heavy rotation for months, even still play a few tracks off it occasionally. Big ups milkshake.
