5 O’Clock Shadowboxers – The Slow Twilight (Mixtape)

This is a concept project comprised of MC Zilla Rocca and producer Douglas Martin, and is loosely based off the NYC Noir Flick A Blast of Silence.

Using nontraditional samples w/ the gritty and dark tone of Zilla Rocca, both Zilla and Douglas Martin have created a project that is entirely unique from most of the hip hop coming out today. Although it’s outside the norm, hope you can open up your ears and minds and soak in what they bring to the table….

    @Gyft – Gave your I Give They Take mixtape a listen. Pretty solid mixtape. Tight lyrics, dope flow and good production.
