iron man is my ish too…
@ truth: about donnie darko, ive heard diff interpretations. that its a time travel movie, its a paradox movie, etc. the one that seems best is one i heard from a psych teacher: its all a psychotic episode by donnie, starting right before the engine hits his house, till at the end of the movie when he was in bed, and he knew the people through collective subconscious.

I hate to use the o-word but The Usual Suspects is. Overrated.
I’m glad Do the Right Thing, City of God and the Royal Tenenbaums got some love. Eternal Sunshine is great; Being John Malkovich and Adaptation by the same screenwriter are also great.
Also, FUCK Forrest Gump. It’s conservative jerk off material. You may call it non-political, but I don’t see it that way.
i’ve seen the movie. i was asking for people’s interpretation (specfically b ali’s because he listed it as one of his favorite). whats the meaning of the movie. because it obviously has a message. and i know know 4 other people who have seen it including myself, and we all had different theories.

Beside Clint Eastwood in “Grand Tarino” (A MUST SEE!) I haven’t seen a movie of this caliber in a long while.
