Y’all need to realize that there isn’t just one definition of hip-hop. Every kind of hip-hop has its strengths that you should be able to appreciate if you’re a fan of music as a whole. You ain’t gotta love all of it, but you shouldn’t hate on it. It’s a given that 90% of everything sucks, hip-hop included, but that don’t mean that the other 10% is the stuff made by people that are from the 5 boroughs and rock timbs.
