The art of the hook is really fucked up in hip-hop these days. I’ll be feelin a track and then the hook comes in and kills the whole damn thing (I’m thinkin Blunt Cruisin on Asleep in the Bread Aisle and Guessing Game on The Preface).
As far as the Crook verse goes, he went in but that’s not his best ever. Song is alright.. haven’t heard from Lil Flip in a while.

Crooked I did his thing but it’s NOT even close to the hottest verse I ever heard from Crooked I or in his top. Nevertheless, he blew Flip’s 2 verses out of the water.
Secondly, Flip’s beat and hook was WAK!!!
So the only good thing about this song was Crooked I’s verse. This is just another track to put in the archives and listen to every now and then.
