all i knew about proof before he died was he was eminems boy. I figured he wasn’t anything special, but after he passed I heard Kurt Kobain and somethin else that i loved so I copped his shit. I still bump the album Searching for Jerry Garcia every now and then.
a lot of people weren’t and still aren’t hip to that album. dude was the second best in d12. he and bugz killed that “desperadoes” joint! Hopefully Em will release some kind of full blown tribute album.
Proof was (and forever will be) known as the “Mayor of Detroit”. That man did more for the city than many people will ever realize.
