Deeper Than Rap (Video)

Here goes the new short film from Rik & Rick. Ross on the production, Cordero on the directing.

Executive produced by Rick Ross, “Deeper Than Rap” shows the young brother of a successful drug dealer witness the murder of his older sibling and associate while in his home. Filmed with a dark setting and with songs from Ross’ album playing in the background, the film jumps to a present-day image of the protagonist as he has followed in his brother’s footsteps within the drug game. Showing he has a business mentality amongst his associates and partners, the story’s main character faces off with the men responsible for slaying his family.

    2) head dude who was riffin’ about one of his goons being scared sees the kid i the window and doesn’t go after dude? doesn’t shoot scary dude for letting him live? just murks off like it’s nothing? and then 10 years later they just HAPPEN to all roll up in front of him? just chillin’? ok. oh, and i’m still waiting for when he “faces off with the men responsible”.

    3) and for the little brother to be still living in the same damn apartment 10 years later? i mean, aside from it looking like he’s the man now, himself, medium pimpin’, whatever… all these home improvement shows on cable and he still eating off the same counter his people’s brains was splattered on?

    i know it sounds like i’m being extra criticial (because i am), but it doesn’t take much to mold someone’s mind into seeing what you want them to see. when you take your time and just think like an over critical asshole, you can bypass putting out some shit that will be a faint memory as soon as the movie/video ends…

    now what was this about again?
