the tape was a lot of hype… with a C+ effort.. I enjoyed the fuck out of it but a lot of others had said.. to much singing. either way it was a solid mixtape and for free you can’t beat that even weezy put down 2 dope 16’s.
I like the tape alot I am bumping it now. at first I was a lil down cause i felt let down too much hype. But the joint is fire. So Far Gone and Comeback season 2 diff vibes. But this joint is serious. Plus thing about Drake’s mixtapes is that they are like albums anyways. Very very few dudes drop tapes like drake even if it is one a year. I’d take 1 drake tape a yr over 5 bs tapes from nearly every other rapper u can name. Nero is getting better all the time he gonna be a major problem by 18 man can’t wait
Have had the tape in the disc player since it dropped. Rode around with wifey on V-Day riding to it. Thought the singing was fitting considering it dropped around that Holiday. The songs would make you believe it was meant for that purpose too. ‘Best I Ever Had’ was some dope shit, ladies will love it. ‘Uptown’, ‘November 18th’…’The Calm’. Dope mixtape, no complaints from me.
