Drake couldn’t have said it better. I’m glad he’s getting the recognition. He def deserves it. I’ve been listening to him for almost 5 years and he’s been putting crazy work in. Good to see it paying off.

On the Real….This Mixtape is not the best from Drake….his first 2 mixtapes are heat and for him to do a Kanye West type of mixtape is pretty wack to try something different and flip it….It’s wack to me…. Drake can spit don’t get me wrong but sounds to be pretty gay to go from outshining Lil Wayne on his joints to going on singing auto-tune…Wack jus a honest opnion and not being a hater.
Yeah, heads def gotta cop his other joints. Judging him soley off So Far Gone is like hearing Kanye for the first time on “808s & Heartbreak”. He’s just in a different mode right now. If you’re already a fan you’ll get it. If not, you won’t. Or it’ll take some time.

I feel you 100%. I personally don’t have aproblem with artists going left field. I like it. Especially if it’s done right. He def sang on more songs than he spit. But after I heard “This Bitch Is Crazy” on Comeback Season I started wanting to hear more of his R&B shit. So I dug it. I think his writing is on point. He puts his songs together well.
And Room For Improvement was so fucking hard. I always hear the late comers talking about Comeback Season but some of his best verses were on his first joint. Everything with Nickel Us F was bananas.

Kid Cudi and Drake are different types of artists. I don’t think you can even compare the two. Cudi is very eclectic and melodic, trying new sounds. Drake is a spitter, who sings a bit. Don’t get me wrong Cudi CAN SPIT, but that’s not his main focus it seems. Both dope ARTISTS though.

mos def listen to drakes 1st 2 tapes if you lookin for judge his lyricism/artistry this one seems jus like sumthin to fill the mainstream gap get the investors lookin at him and poised properly to drop that beast of an album he has couped up in storage. hopefully it didnt change much, cuz i wasnt feelin most of this tape but i know drake’s a beast alredy so ima wait
^^^you serious? this tapes amazing…his singing is great and hes straight spitting refer to ignorant shit….he has cocnious records on this shit “houstalantavegas” street stuff…somooth electro style rnb…..im a critical person but i would say this tape is def one of his best man…and keep in mind the 5-12 songs that hes leaked werent even on this like ranson, wont forever, etc….drake runs this rap shit
