I only purchase shit that’s got crazy packaging to go along with it. Like Kanye’s shit or Atmosphere or Dalek or something. My reasoning is that I play most of my music off my iPod (in the car, gym, etc) or on iTunes (home, parties, etc) so it doesn’t matter much. Unless it’s vinyl, and I don’t see this dude releasing shit on vinyl anytime soon. We’re in a new digital age, and I’m sure as hell not going to pay for this shit. “Nice artwork,” my ass. Anyone with Photoshop and a speck of an aesthetic eye can whip this up in one sitting.

You know what’s a steal? An artist putting 10 songs on a 25 cent compact disk and wanting money for that. You wanna make money in 2009 as an artist, go to some cities, advertise some shows, then actually do some shows. And, while your doing that, try doing something besides standing up on stage and yelling into the mic. Sound alone is not a commodity anymore. Ya Boy’s music is awesome, but no one cares anymore about people who try to sell their shit at 2000 percent its actual value. If this was $1.99 I’d buy it. Get real.
