It’s been clear as day since before any of this popped that Saigon is not in the same weight class as Budden lyrically. I was a fan of the Yardfather mixtapes but as he’s “progressed” he’s gotten more and more wack. He’s been hiding behind legit production for the past few years. This shit here was weak and I’m not surprised by that. This is coming from the same dude that made Shot In My Booty, got bodied on his own track (Come On Baby Remix) by a past-his-prime Jigga, tried to recreate a fuckin Al B. Sure record (one of the lamest attempts at hip-hop I’ve ever heard), has had some of the biggest mixtape DJ’s in the game host his mixtapes (Drama, Kay Slay, Clinton Sparks, Whoo Kid) and STILL wouldn’t get recognized in a crowded street in his hometown. Budden doesn’t even have to respond because this fool clowned himself. He tries to front like he’s intelligent because he wears reading glasses but whenever he’s confronted on some shit he ain’t nothing to say but “that nigga’s gay”. This clown called a 6 year old gay. Saigon’s got talent, but it doesn’t really come through here. This is pretty weak. A couple of funny lines, but the way he structured his bars was sloppy and the wordplay was pretty amateurish.
