If you’ve ever caught Brother Ali live then you should’ve witnesses BK-One do the damn thing on the 1s & 2s. And if you haven’t… why the fuck are you missing out on one of the best live performers to date? Anyways… the homie jakemoney just shot over this mix that BK put together. It’s an at-home rendition of one of his sets from this past October. Featuring tracks from Common, The Grouch, Prince, Big Daddy Kane and more.

Thanks a lot for posting this! It’s part of our ongoing BRLSQOTHEQUE podcast which features new mixes every week or so with music from oldies to disco to bloggy remixes to unknown St. Louis hood raps and beyond. Subscribe or get individual tracks here- http://www.burlesquedesign.com/brlsqotheque
Very good. Sounds like if I had little brothers and taught them how to mix. http://dl-client1.getdropbox.com/u/34888/grapplinghooks.mp3 It sounds very Chicago, stylewise. Im looking forward to hearing more.

Thanks for posting this. I love BK-Ones’s mixtapes (especially Set In Motion), but it’s been over a year since he put anything out. This doesn’t sound quite as complex as his other shit, but I like all the songs and the mixing. Does anybody know what acapella he put over the White Lines beat? Tell Ali and BK to come back to Dallas soon!
Great Mixtape!!
