Idle Warship (Talib Kweli + Res + Graph Nobel) are preparing to release a bunch of new music and video soon, and are celebrating with a show next Monday night, December 22nd, at BB Kings in NYC, performing with a live band along LA’s Blu & Exile and DJ K-Salaam). In order to get folks ready for the show and the new music, the group is unveiling this new video clip entitled “Idle Warship Takes Over Your Party!,” which follows the trio around NYC on a night out, as they record, perform, share their thoughts on artistry and move through the city. It’s a really fresh and original video made by my dude Court Dunn at Restless Films, so make sure you check it out. The video also prominently features the dope new joint “Steady.” “Steady” will be featured on the upcoming Idle Warship mixtape, which will be dropping very soon.

Sounds good, looks like i’ll be digging into the archives of Idle Warship. When is Mos Def and Talib going to link up again as resurrect “Black Star”. One of my fav duos.
Kweli said that the BS project is not coming any time soon, but he will collab with Mos on Mos’ new album. Liberation 2 w/ Madlib and the new Reflection Eternal albums are coming next year though.
