Yo, Banks is my nigga. i got everything this nigga dus. But i gotta agree wit shake, ALMOST. I think he still killin shit. His mixtapes he puttin out now is crazy. But all yall up there must not no old banks. That dude was a monster. Old Bank, the real PLK wud kill this banks. But compared to the bullshit bein put out now, banks is definitely still killin tracks. And it was post Hunger for more, not pre get rich.
Banks’ recent beat selection is really the issue. A lot of his mixtape tracks sound the same because the beats he picks are sub-par. Then his phenomenal lyrics get clouded by the boring beat. However, if I was to average out all of Banks’ mixtape tracks’ ratings given by me, his overall score is still 4/5, and compared to most rappers catalogue, I’d say that’s pretty hot. This one is a 4 out of 5 for a free track. Enjoy.
Forreal though, Can’t be hatin on Banks.. He one of the realest niggas out there spittin that true shit, killin any track he gets..
If he collaborated with Polow a bit more and got some fat beats, he’ll raise hell.. I am still amazed at how he’s not being quoted as one of the top 10 of the moment. To me he is.
