JoeBuddenTV: limewire love joe budden tv takes a moment to get serious…. sorta like the end of every full house episode when the cheesy theme music starts to come on, man i hated that !
That’s good he gave Joe $100, but if he was really real he woulda been buying the music from the jump. What real fan of an artist says “if I ever see him in person I’ll pay him for his music, till then I’ma steal it”…………IF YOU LIKE THE MUSIC PAY FOR IT!!!!! And cause I know somebody is gonna ask if they read this, yes I still buy cds and if I don’t I just buy the songs I like off of iTunes
Thats nice and all. But charging shit adds up. Besides just the purchase they add $2 or whatever extra just cause. Why buy the shit when you could get it for free. Unless its something you must have for album art or cd artwork and such. The principle behind bootlegging originated to force artist to make better music. Perfect their craft. If you have 2 singles, and the rest of your album is filler, then fuck you. But if you put as much effort into every cut, interlude and skit, as you do the singles you do to draw attention to your work and gain fans, then yes, you deserve to have your shit purchased. As far as J.Budden, his singles didnt do his album justice.”Walk With Me” was thee best shit I’d ever heard when I listened to it. But “Pump It Up” wouldn’t have you believe that. “10 Minutes” is another standout track, that many consumers probably have never heard. In conclusion (English 101 shit) if these “artist” cared as much about their craft as they did their money, the wouldn’t let labels dick them into releasing singles that don’t define the message they actually want to get across.
Actually, I think Joey got more out of getting dude’s $100 CAD (~$80 USD) up front than getting $3 from his debut and maybe $5 to $10 from the MM mixtape series and who knows from “Halfway House”. So in a way, dude supported Budden more than you buying all of his albums.
Then once again……just buy the songs that you like off of iTunes instead of buying the whole cd. People always try and justify taking the music for free. And yes I’m sayin all this on a site where I download songs from almost everyday, but you better believe even though I got the whole Nas album off this site before it came out the day that the cd dropped in the store I went and bought that joint. If you really appreciate what your favorite artists are putting out then buy it and show support
@ Cannon…..but he said if he ever saw him in person he’d pay him. So you saying if you never meet Jay-Z, Nas, Kanye West, or any one of your favorite big time artists that you shouldn’t have to pay for their music unless you actually meet them?????
Trilogy… you’re beating a dead horse. Cannon never said anything that you alluded to. Nothing close to it. Dude tossing budden $100 is pure profit. Artist make at most 7, 8 dollars off the sale of a single album. Do the math. And umm… how many Joe Budden “albums” are there to buy? Last time I checked artists don’t get paid for mixtape material and freestyle.
Whatever anyone says I gotta give it up to dude for supporting joey. I have downloaded all of budden’s albums myself. I listened to all of them and decided to purchase his self titled debut from itunes and Halfway House from amalgam digital. Joey is one of the few artists I support. It doesn’t matter if it’s after the fact or not. He’s just showing love for joey’s music. Besides most people gotta hear Joe Budden a few times to really appreciate it. I can understand why one would not buy right off the bat. Joey goes over some heads at times, but people eventually catch up. Props.
You know whats really gangster? Admitting that you watched full house as a kid.
I bet rick ross still watches full house.
so does young berg haha
